B22 wins a competition for under35 designers for a new housing project in Milano
B22 won AAA architetticercasi 2010, a competition for a new co-operative housing complex in the Cascina Merlata area in Milano promoted by Confcooperative Federabitazione, Legacoop abitanti Lombardia and EuroMilano S.p.A.
Cascina Merlata is a major urban development located close to the Rho-Pero Trade Fair pole and to the future 2015 Expo site, in the city of Milano.
An architectural competition, addressed to under35 designers, was launched in 2010 for a new housing complex to be built within the frame of a masterplan designed by Antonio Citterio & Partners and Caputo Partnership.
The winning project team includes Sergio Coll (Benicarló, 1983), Mikel Martínez (San Sebastian, 1982) and Stefano Tropea (Padova, 1983).
